I am a working towards my B.F.A. in Technical Theatre  at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. I am currently employed with the Walt Disney World company at Animal Kingdom and Beyond Parks Entertainment in entertainment costuming. In my college training, I have had the opportunity to lead and assistant design plays and musicals. In addition to designing, I have held leadership roles on crew teams for other shows in our season, including costume crew head and assistant stage manager. Additionally, I serve as a seamstress in the costume shop at Florida Southern for the fall and spring seasons. 

 

My experience as a designer has equipped me with the important skills needed to help a show succeed, such as effectively communicating with the other members of the production team to create a cohesive story, and lead a team in the construction of costumes. My experience as a seamstress has allowed me to hone my sewing skills. The amount of shows I have been privileged to work on has allowed me to hone and further my skills.
